EYHO Cares

Lake Nyanza village, Tanzania

EYHO group travel is socially driven to improve the lives of the people we meet. EYHO uses only locally-based tour ops who sustain local economies. In addition, should you wish to participate, help EYHO:

  • support a self-help village in Tanzania: on Lake Nyanza, an unusual community-run model with zero govt or NGO funding. Yet every year we see progress: a dispensary, a school, a video hall.

  • support vocational training in Mumbai slums: Yuva Parivartan teaches slum youth skills such as hairdressing, cooking, and travel guiding. EYHO’s slum tour is led by Yuva’s students.

  • support heritage preservation in Udaipur: Eternal Mewar is a non-govt funded private charitable organization that preserves heritage of the world’s longest running dynasty

  • support mobile breast cancer clinics: Bollywood actress Tanuja’s initiative to deliver drugs and treatment to rural India

  • Orphanages: custom travel guests can work at, experience, and feed orphanages in New Delhi and Kiambu, Kenya

  • support self-help co-operatives in Gujarat and Kutch: an entire trip –Textiles to Gujarat and Kutch – is dedicated to reviving and sustaining desert textile traditions. Shrujan, an award winning women’s co-op, are our hosts.

Leave behind a measure of your compassion, and return home with even more powerful memories!
